Cheltenham 2011 Wednesday

After a fantastic day for this blog with 2 winners and 33/1 placed(Bet 365 paid 5 places)we look forward to another great days racing.

1.30 Arabella Boy(16/1)

A tentative selection but as the brilliant Nina Carberry is on board i will be having a small e/w play.

2.05 So Young(5/2)

Connections were tempted to run this in the Supremes on Tuesday but waited for this race,take the hint they very rarely get it wrong.

2.40 Mikael D,Haguenet(10/1)

This horse hasnt yet fired over fences but has had excuses and if you can forgive those runs is very over-priced as i would have him around the 5/1 mark.A small e/w bet advised but for me a straight win bet.

3.20 Sizing Europe(8/1)

Aimed at this all year and for me the value in the race,won the Arkle very well last year and with the stable having a winner at The Festival already this year just improves my confidence.
Have had a small ante-post interest at bigger odds on Captain Cee Bee but what horse turns up is guess work.

4.00 Walkon(20/1)

Just love this horse and to back him at odds this big is very rare.Will have to shoulder top weight but has the class to do this and should be there abouts at the end,e/w bet advised.

4.40 Celtus(9/1)

The last couple of races are very tough but i have sided with this horse and with is given a chance to fill his reputation after a disappointing first start for connections.

5.15 Go All The Way(25/1)

Not a race i have much joy in and with alot of these horses running on soft ground only this race could spring up another shock like last years 50/1 winner so i have picked a horse that has only had one run finishing 2nd on good ground to Bishopsfurze who was highly touted for this last year.Not a race to get heavily involved in so keep stakes to a minimum.
