CHELTENHAM (DAY4)
1.30 ADVISOR (6/1)
Was told about this horse a few months ago and took the 25/1 ante post,so not going to desert this horse and a big run expected.
2.05 OLDRIK (12/1)
Ran a cracker last week and as long as those excertions havant taken to much out of him will go very close.
2.40 THE BETCHWORTH KID (10/1)
Highly rated on the flat and has a touch of class about him and for me a cracking e/w bet to be had here.
3.20 KAUTO STAR (4/6)
Just the best chaser around and for me should win this quite easily,your not going to get rich backing this and at the price maybe worth taking on but really dont know what to put up against him.
4.00 DUN DOIRE (12/1)
A class horse and hopefully will get Nina a winner as she is far and away the best jockey in this race.
4.40 BALTHAZAR KING (20/1)
From the in form Hobbs yard and will love the ground and well overpriced.I expect this to get backed and if so get stuck in.
5.15 PEPSYROCK (20/1)
Could not find anything i liked in this and you can stick a pin in it and have a good chance so ive asked my wife for a selection and she liked the name of this one,thats good enough for me as this is a trappy end of Festival race.

Tips for Thursday 18th March
CHELTENHAM (DAY3)
1.30 NICANOR (14/1)
A class horse a couple of years ago and still retains some of that ability and at 14/1 a great e/w price.
2.05 ALFIE SHERRIN (7/2)
Harry Findlays best bet of the meeting,take the hint.
2.40 TRANQUIL SEA (4/1)
My best bet of the meeting and i will be lumping into this.Ground a slight concern but has won on good ground before so get stuck in.
3.20 WAR OF ATTRITION (33/1)
Another odds on favourite to take on and this old campaigner has won a Gold Cup and still has plenty of ability,could go close at a huge price.
4.00 PRIVATE BE (25/1)
Loves it round Cheltenham and this is very trappy so a speculive selection at a nice price.
4.40 GALANT NUIT (9/1)
A confident selection as this horse has been aimed at this for some time and with Nina Carberry up and the connections very upbeat this will go very very close.
Another nice price winner on Day 2 with Peddlers Cross doing the business at 7/1 and a couple of nice priced e/w selections collecting we are well ahead.Lets keep the winners coming.

Heres a quick pick on the horses ive selected for Day 2 of Cheltenham
1.30 .... Massasoit (7/1)
2.05 .... Reve De Sivola (11/1) EW
2.40 .... Punchestown (11/4)
4.00 .... Mamlook (20/1) EW
4.40 .... Sanctuaire (6/1)

Tips for Wednesday 17th March
CHELTENHAM DAY 2
1.30 PRESENTING FOREVER (14/1)
Stable in cracking form and a good jockey booking makes this a value selection.A good 2nd last time out to the promising Wogan also reads quite well.
2.05 PEDDLERS CROSS (13/2)
Value to take on the two Irish horses at the head of the market and good reports coming from connections who are expecting a very big run.
2.40 LONG RUN (2/1)
Not a selection to get rich quick on but im on at bigger prices ante post,the only problem for me is the inexperienced jockey on board.A quality horse who only has Punchestowns to beat and with that horse having a problem on the run up to this im pretty confident Long Run is the one to be on.
3.20 WELL CHIEF (33/1)
Master Minded should win this with a clear round of jumping but this horse is the forgotten one and at this price a must e/w bet.Not as good as maybe two years ago but its record at Cheltenham is superb not finishing out of the two and runs well after more than a months break. I just think this is worth a bet as the favourite is 10/11 at present and will be backed.
4.00 WISHFULL THINKING (11/1)
A novice rapidly improving and should go very close and no suprise to see this backed tomorrow.
4.40 NOTUS DE LA TOUR (11/2)
The word from the Pipe stable is this should win and they would be very disappointed if this dosent run a big race.
5.15 FRAWLEY (16/1)
Had a good word for this but being a Bumper i would not put you off backing anything Irish as there record in this is outstanding.Another at a big price thats interesting is Shannon Spirits with Nina Carberry on board but with only one run to his name its taking a chance.
Lets hope for another great day of racing and keep the winners flowing.Good luck all

Tips for Tuesday 16th March
CHELTENHAM (DAY 1)
1.30 MENORAH (12/1)
Dunguib looks nailed on but at those odds its not going to make you rich quick and with the past 5 year trends its worth opposing and taking a chance on this.A decent enough price for an e/w bet and a good start to the day.
2.05 SOMERSBY (4/1)
Given the kid glove treatment my his trainer and is highly regarded.Could this be the new Best Mate??
2.40 THE PACKAGE (6/1)
Won well last time aand put David Pipes put this up as his best chance all week,thats a good enough tip for me.
3.20 CELESTIAL HALO (9/1)
With my main hope now a non runner this looks to be great value for what is a very open Champion Hurdle.Trained all year for this race and with Ruby up i cant see this not being in the top three.
4.00 GARDE CHAMPETRE (5/2)
Won this last year and with the excellant Nina Carberry on board this will not be far away.If your looking for more value Monkerhoistin at around 11/1 is worth a little e/w interest.
4.40 NO ONE TELLS ME (8/1)
With the front two a bit short for me im going to put this horse up as a tentative selection to run into a place a maybe cause a minor upset.
Enjoy the racing and lets hope for a profitable start to 4 days of pure quality.

Tips for Saturday 13th March
SANDOWN
2.00 FABULOUS FRED (20/1)
A tricky race to start things of but this is great value and well worth a good e/w bet.
3.05 QASPAL (5/1)
Another competative race and this horse is improving every race and should take this race quite easily.McCoy doing this weight is a very good hint and Cheltenham funds will be built on this.
WOLVERHAMPTON
2.15 DUNELIGHT (4/1)
Should be fit from a winter in Dubai and with the talented Ryan Moore up a big run is expected.
3.25 FLIPANDO (5/1)
This will be backed and no suprise to see this go in to follow up last years sucess.
Good luck all and lets build the Cheltenham bank.There will be a daily blog with a selection for every race on all four days.

NEWBURY
3.45 NEARBY (7/2)
Ran a good race last time out and the form of that race was franked today with the winner bolting up again.
DONCASTER
3.25 KILLYGLEN (12/1)
If this horse rediscovers his form he will destroy this field but thats a big risk but one im willing to take on at a great price.
KEMPTON
3.20 QUINZ
Put up at a massive price last time and ran a blinder just being touched off on the line for some good e/w cash.This is easier and a repeat performance should be good enough.
With Cheltenham just around the corner and a dry spell forecasted it might be worth an ante post bet on Sublimity in the Champion Hurdle at 25/1 its a cracking bet and has been close up to Solwhit twice on unsuitable ground and that horse is around 5/1.
Good luck all and lets start building the funds for The Festival

With the sun out,and cheltenham around the corner we're back up and running on the blog..lets hope we can all make some money today..here are my selections for some of todays racing.
2.45 ...MOLESKIN
Has been backed on the blog before,this time out has come under a hefty weight penalty for his last outing,altho i dont see to many problems for this with a few hurdling debutants..
3.55 ...PIPO DE RE 9/4
Still a maiden,but with few entries in this race could nail it..has had a few places in 3m and over so the shorter trip could be the right move for this horse.
Good luck all and dont forget to check the blog daily for all of your cheltenham tips and previews..
